Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Induction Program
- Lead and drive the induction program Genesis across Stryker for new employees, including preparing induction schedules, orientation materials, and conducting introductory sessions.
- Serve as the primary contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns during the induction period.
- Work closely with stakeholders to customize induction programs based on departmental needs and feedback.
- Work with various functions to manage the administrative and operational aspects of induction, which may include arranging employees hotel stays, coordinating logistics, and setting up necessary resources.
Training Coordination
- Assist POD lead in organizing and scheduling training sessions, including arranging facilities, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain an updated training calendar, track attendance, and collect feedback from participants.
- Support the POD lead in identifying training needs through surveys, feedback sessions, and discussions with department leads.
- Maintain accurate records of training and induction programs, tracking participant progress and completion.
- Support in any training vendor onboarding.
Employee Support
- Provide ongoing support to employees for questions related to training resources, access to learning materials, and the use of online training platforms.
- Act as a liaison between employees and training providers to troubleshoot and resolve any issues promptly.
Continuous Improvement
- Gather and analyze feedback to help improve training and induction experiences.
- Contribute to the development of new training resources, methods, or tools as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experience in HR or employee training (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and training software is a plus.
Work Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
