Lead - MEP Design

• Lead and manage the MEP design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Oversee the development and review of MEP design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
• Ensure the efficient and effective implementation of MEP designs in real estate projects, coordinating with construction and operations teams.
• Review and approve MEP design proposals, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP design and implementation.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in MEP design processes and standards.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources for MEP design projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Provide leadership in resolving MEP design-related challenges and issues that may arise during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in MEP design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree or relevant post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP design, with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing MEP design projects in the Real Estate industry.

• Experience with energy-efficient and sustainable MEP design solutions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple MEP design projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and its application in MEP design.
